Recovering Outlook PST Passwords

To recover the password of Outlook PST files:

Step 1:

Launch Kernel Outlook Password Recovery tool.

Step 2:

Click Add Files, select the PST files, and click Recover Password.

Select PST File

Step 3:

Click OK upon the recovery of Outlook PST password. Click OK again.

Note: To save report to a CSV file, click Save Report to CSV. Provide a name for the CSB file and click Save.

Removing Outlook PST Passwords

To remove Outlook PST passwords:

Step 1:

Launch Kernel Outlook Password Recovery tool.

Click Add Files, select the PST file, and click Remove Password.

Step 2:

Click I have the backup, continue.

Note: If you don't have backups, it is recommended that you click Do not continue.
Step 3:

Click OK upon the removal of Outlook PST password, Click OK again.

Note: To save report to a CSV file, click Save Report to CSV. Provide a name for the CSV file and click save.

Resetting Outlook PST Passwords

To set a new password for the Outlook PST file

Step 1:

Launch Kernel Outlook Password Recovery tool.

Click Add Files, select the PST file, and click Set New Password.

Step 2:

Click I have the backup, continue.

Note: If you don’t have backups, it is recommended that you click Do not continue
Step 3:

Enter a password and verify the password. Click OK.

Step 4:

Click OK upon the resetting of Outlook PST password. Click OK again.

Note: To save report to a CSV file, click Save Report to CSV. Provide a name for the CSV file and click Save.
