Our client, Manfred Recla, had a huge EDB file and wanted to save it to Office 365. However, he was unable to find software that could handle a big .edb file at a reasonable cost. Whenever the client tried exporting mailboxes from EDB files over Office 365, an error popped up on the screen, resulting in a failed migration.

Streamlined the migration of Large EDB files containing critical business data to Office 365 at a reasonable cost.”

Problem

Manfred Recla, an active client of Kernel Data Recovery, needed to migrate EDB files to Office 365 to transfer mailboxes and their respective data. However, even after so many trials, due to the large size of the EDB files, he encountered errors in the execution. The client then spoke to the Kernel Data Recovery team and explained the entire situation and what he was trying to achieve with that migration.

Solution

As soon as the client explained the situation, the Kernel Data Recovery team started the analysis of the migration process and approaches that client was following. First, the team tried migrating using the Exchange Admin Center and PowerShell cmdlets. However, doing this manually was time-consuming and monotonous and caused data loss.

Then, after encountering complexities, we suggested using Kernel Exchange Suite, which delivered prompt and meticulous data migration. After a short session, the client was able to migrate the procured EDB files on his own. The tool showed a preview of all the mailboxes and their respective folders, allowing the client to choose the data he needs in the destination, i.e., Microsoft Office 365. The new email environment (Office 365) is now helping him manage all the mailboxes and operate effective communication at a lower cost than earlier.

The software not only resolved the issue of migrating large EDB files to Office 365, but it is also going to help him in the long run by always being helpful in case of database corruption, accidental deletion of mailboxes, migrating data to PST, Outlook, or Exchange Server.
